  I'm really disgusted with TCF PERIOD! This is the final straw. I periodically have to send relatives to make deposits for me, due to medical reasons. Not only was my account compromised once, but three times. Twice by a teller at the Roosevelt and Ashland Branch in Chicago, IL by giving my account balance to them, and this last time March 30, 2017 at the Branch on 183rd and Kedzie in Homewood, IL I was on the phone with my relative when the teller asked him if he wanted the balance. I question what kind of people do they employ. Certainly not many with plain ole common sense. Each time I've called and made a complaint about, but nothing seems to be done. Not even a follow up call from a Branch Manager. SMH It's definitely time to go back to Bank America or Chase...

  My overall experience with this location has been pretty good as I have been a customer for well over 10 years. Technology has changed so I don't need to visit a teller much nowadays.

  The non customer check cashing policy was a bit much. They ask for a lot of personal information ( social, job title and location, phone number with provider, alone with regular standard stuff ID and address) then for it to be processed was almost 45 minutes to go through I had to suggest the teller call technical support which went through in 5 mins after all that time. And I was told I still may not be able to cash it depending on what came back. The teller even said we don't ask that much to open an account. It was a long process I felt like I was applying for a car loan when all I wanted was to cash a check.
